Sleep seasons

When it gets to spring, I start noticing changes to my sleep.

Temperature

  • Trying to get the bedding right – too much blanket/not enough

Light

  • The sun starts waking me up again

Smells

  • Pollen gets me sneezing
  • the pie shop next door wakes me with meaty pie-ness

Ability to sleep through the whole night.

  • It’s warmer so I wake more
  • Lighter in the evenings so I don’t want to go to bed, and then my sleep routine gets thrown out
