This is us.
Liesel & Gary. The Sleep Lab crew.
Neither of us are perfect.

We have both had to work out how to live with brain changes that affect sleep.
In the midst of our own messy learnings, we decided we probably had quite a lot to offer others struggling with energy levels and quality sleep.

Gary Peters (MFA)
Professionally, Gary has a background in design and the fine arts.
Gary has the coaching knack of asking the right question at the right moment. With an intuitive sense for people and the unique perspective of an artist, Gary has a brain for smart solutions and systems.
He is an artist who wants to bring light and dark together to shake up the universe. Originally from the UK, he decided to change things up when he moved across the world to Aotearoa NZ in 2006.
Gary made the capital city his home, and completed a Masters in Fine Arts, developing what was to become his signature confident use of colour. While continuing to paint and work with other artists in the city, Gary began exploring how his knowledge and insights as a creative could be applied to coaching and mentoring.
After a serious concussion, Gary became more aware of how sleep is one of the key ingredients in healing his brain.
Gary’s mentoring skills and coaching conversations have been developed through consulting and guidance as a freelancer, and as a business mentor with Business Mentors NZ.
This combination of creative expertise, keen intuition and mentoring experience supports Gary’s lived perspective of managing habits, routines, diet and exercise in ways that aid brain health and improve sleep quality.
